Kayla is a mildly depressed demi-goddess who walks the earth relatively alone. Since the death of her guardian in McKinsley Inlet, she has subjected herself to prostitution in order to generate revenue without a paper trail that would tag her in the system. She doesn't respond well to her mother and consistantly tries to be in charge despite the odds against her.

Caring and warm in her close circles. She tends to be suspecious around strangers, especially if they give a visual/aural reason for it (lying, for example). Unbeknowest to her is that she is part demon and part Goddess. Her "humanity" is mimicked rather then naturally occuring. Her emotional responses can be a little off in comparison. For example, she may not display the full sorrow one would express with the loss of a love one.

A tired detective on the Sheriff Homicide Department from working a very difficult serial murder case.  Although he was friends with Madison during their schooling, he was always skeptical beyond what science can prove. Between Amy's insistence on making progress on the case, his sister Claire nagging him about about his job and guns, and the lack of sleep he was getting, he is somewhat irritable and prone to sarcasm.

A demon who was once a human, but after turning on his ordered he accepted a deal from Lucifer. His current goal is to secure a form of magick to overthrown the Celtic Gods and Goddesses.

Mother of Madison and guardian of Victoria. She keeps an upbeat motherly personality, but commands a little respect from people.

A naïve girl who is a ward of Madison and Brigit. She is familiar with the ways of magic and eager for learning, she is a little more trusting then Madison would like (she takes a real liking to Kayla VERY quickly).

As a Captain in Homicide, it is her job to ensure her subordinates (like Jason) does their jobs properly. Her problem rests when political agenda get in the way of her job, and she must overcome pressure being a woman in one nasty division. She tends to deflect some animosity towards Jason, despite her innermost feeling that he is a good friend and good detective.

One of Heidan's chief goon. He takes a distinct sadistic pleasure in his acts. He has distain towards Kayla, but mortal fear from Heidan.

An educated lady who rather been on a hot date, then working a late night crime scene.
