Scenes for Symphonic Metal

 

Some notes to scenes that need music. I am open for suggestions, but these are the primary themes I am looking for of the symphonic metal variety.

There will be fire SFX until 00;00;32;06. An omnious combination of bass/keyboard/drums should slowly play as the scene most further away from the scene..building up for the next sequence.

This is the “escape” from the fire pit, which should be accentuated by a single riff/chord.

Drums should play in a marching with her steps. Guitars would work really well building up as she approaches view.

The music should cycle down as it moves towards the fire and fades to black. As the title Heresy Studios comes up, an omnious mixture of keyboard and drums may work here.

Main Theme - Titles

I was thinking something towards the tempo of the beginning of the Victims of the Haunt. Also some drum/bass to punch the incoming pictures in. As the theme moves along, the music starts to build up. First going to display the beats

The theme should start off with a basic intro, possibly with a keyboard

Between the beats, I want some sort of rythmn pushing the music along (drums? Cymbals? Bass?) The buildup of keyboard should start at this point. The transition between 00;00;28;03 to 00;00;29;03 could use a guitar riff to support it.

Maybe some additional instrumentals. The same type of guitar riff to transition between this sequence to the next.

Close out with a hard rock segment, and fade it out towards the end.

Flight of a Goddess / Bad Guy Theme

This will be part of the bad guy theme. The only suggestion I have outright is a cord slam at 00;01;00;13. Something dark and grungy with a beat for the sex scenes fading into the "bad guy" theme building into a bit of a high point when he’s waving his arms around from 00;00;57;21 to 00;01;00;13.

Examine Death / Logo Theme Reprised

An underscore from 00;00;31;02 to 00;00;40;15 that will be a reprise of the Logo theme from earlier. A slow build up as he walks towards the door.

Dream Sequence

A reprise of the Main Theme might be good here. One thing that I feel might help is to have drums or bass emphasize the transition points.

Demon/Bad Guy Theme

Another point where the bad guy theme will be used. This will be in an underscore format, accentuating the scene.
